Tim Hortons Allergen Guide
Tim Hortons publishes an allergen guide for its Canadian menu and nutrition details in its app. It also says plainly that restaurant staff are not trained to answer allergy questions.
This page explains what the official guide covers, where cross-contact can happen, which items obviously contain common allergens, and who to contact before you order.
Read this first: We are not doctors or dietitians, and this is not the official Tim Hortons allergen list. Use it to plan, then check the current guide on timhortons.ca and contact Tim Hortons Guest Care before you eat if you have a serious allergy.
πWhat Tim Hortons Publishes
Nutrition and allergen information is in the Tim Hortons app and on timhortons.ca under Nutrition and Allergens. Tim Hortons says ingredient lists are not published there, and it points guests with ingredient or allergy questions to its Guest Care Team.
Tim Hortons also says its team members are not professionally trained in nutrition and allergens. Do not rely on the person at the counter for an allergy answer.

πCross-Contact Warning
The guide says restaurants use shared equipment, cooking areas and utensils, so food can come into contact with other foods and allergens. Tim Hortons says it cannot guarantee that cross-contact will not happen.
The guide also says test items, limited-time items and some regional items may not be listed. Seasonal donuts and drinks are the ones most likely to be missing.
Pro Tip
For a serious allergy, check the current guide on timhortons.ca the same day you order. Limited-time items change often.

π₯Dairy-Free Milk Options
Oat milk has been available in any hot or iced drink at Canadian restaurants since December 2021, according to VegNews. Almond milk is also offered, and soy milk at select restaurants.
In February 2025, Tim Hortons confirmed it would drop the extra charge for plant-based milk, which had been up to a dollar in drinks like lattes.
Swapping the milk does not make every drink dairy-free. Flavour syrups, toppings and Iced Capp bases can still contain milk, so check the guide.
